Muzzy mod for auto pressing the button

Has anyone done anything like this where the button gets pressed when the bow is drawn back? I did do some searching but didn't come up with anything. I could be way off on keywords, though.

I can't believe that Muzzy didn't design that feature into their new reel. Seems like an absolute no-brainer to me to do that sort of thing, but I guess Cajun was the only company that got that memo.

Anyway, has anyone ever seen this and could post how it was done?

:jd: dude million dollar idea! why not? the cable bows would be easy, just work it like a fall away rest. making something for levers would be a challenge. worst part is the button has to be released once pushed for the reel to release.

a better solution would be to make a reel that is always disinguaged until a button/lever is pulled to make the pick up pin extend

or don't be lazy and just push the button... :p

On cable bows, you think it would release the button before the arrow got far enough away to put tension on the line? I think it would work, the cables should move far enough forward to release the button before the line gets tight. On lever bows you would have to think outside the box a little... Also i dont really want anything else on my bow, just adds that much more weight to hold all night.

or you could just push the button after you nock the arrow...

That's an awesome idea!!!! I'm gonna have to try that sometime. I was thinking of way to press the button and have it draw the bow but your idea is way better.
