Ok so I bought some arrows from a bowfishing vendor back in the winter, well so far I have lost 4 tips out of the 6 I purchased. My question is what kind of glue should I use when I buy more tips? Only think I can think of is I used some 3 in 1 oil to keep them from rusting up could that have caused it to come off?

Gorilla super glue best ive found . I bought some arrows from a company and threw them on the dash of my truck drove 7 miles home and had several nocks and a point come off during the ride .

I was thinking of using a 2 part epoxy lol maby they had some bad glue?

Nocks or points or ferrules? Plain ol generic super glue for knocks and ferrules. Points use Teflon tape in the threads.

No offence to anyone but I have never lost a tip or a knock with the cheapest super glue out there...rocks roots mainly gator gar and a few carp and weed gar...seriously I think people think about this way too hard. A hole is a void, a hole with a pin throw it sounds like a lot of work, two part epoxy sounds messy, a crimp will never ever allow you to replace a tip when it wrecks out or to salvage a tip when a arrows splinters. People who crimp sell arrows for a living making you buy another arrow when something breaks...I'm just saying I can completely build a blank new arrow in under a minute and start fishing with it in 1 minute 15 seconds with super glue...

Is your wisdom contained in your beard?

Another vote for two part epoxy. The blue Loctite super glue is good but in my experience doesn't stand up as well as epoxy.

I use Easton HIT epoxy. Most pro-shops give it away because they don't want to open the little packets (they come with new arrows) when they build arrows for customers. Those packets are great for a few tips and nocks. Heat and remove if you want to switch out. No issues ever with it, but you have to plan ahead.
