MY HATS OFF TO YOU TONY.You are handling all this exactly the way it should be handled. This chit has got to stop, and the ball is in our park as bowfisherman. The threats and foul language is just furthering the black eye we have as a whole community.Look at all of this from the outside...from somebody who has no idea about bowfishing. How does this look? Not good huh?Yall have a fight on your hands, and your losing. We all have a fight nation wide, but now where is it like you have in Texas

caint say im any less pissed than the guy posting the video. if it where not for fueling activists I'd probably go on the offense as well. nothing like getting out at a ramp and seeing stuff like that and not hiding my head just a little bit when others drive by.

How lazy do you have to be to dump at a ramp and not at the minimum sink them in the river. OR .... Conspiracy theory... its anti bow fisherman dumping them to make Bow fisherman look bad....:pop:

Bowfisher or not. If I catch someone doing that there will be an ars whooping!! I will force them to lick every one of them. It's pathetic that people do that.

don,t know what the fine is surely there is one one possibility bowfishers get behind this and get a hefty fine for this sort of thing maybe cameras on the problem spots not really a fan of cameras but maybe sometimes.

That's just ridiculous! I can't really make a judgement on whether that guy is just a tree hugger or a concerned bass fisher, but either way if we, as bow fishers, are willing to stand on a deck for four hours, drive home after 3 in the morning, get back with the sun coming up, we have to be less lazy when it comes to getting rid of our fish. I love shooting fish and this video kinda makes me sick! Btw I known i'm preaching to the choir but I just needed to vent! Sorry!

Guy's, it is this kind of stuff that will force regulations we will not like.
I know the last thing we want to deal with is getting rid of fish at 3:00 a.m., but have a plan or slit and dump them back in the water, do something respectful.
My wife and I made a trip to Kentucky and we found piles of fish all over around the ramp, this is uncalled for anywhere we are in the public eye.

Gar fisherman to make matters worse

I saw this and commented, but this particular gentleman seems to be of the opinion that all people who bowfish do this.

Someone brought up that they saw piles of fish by the barkley dam ramp. There is a youtube video about the huge die off that happened last year of silvers, but on this video, which was on the local news there, they did point out that all the dead fish laying around the ramp and lot were from bowfisherman and to dispose of fish properly.

sadly bowfisher men will be the end of bowfishing in Texas.
I agree. I know most on here get just as upset as I do when this stuff pops up. We have to look at current trends to see what will be in store if we don't make our bowfishing voice heard as well against the illegal dumping like this at ramps. for crying out loud there is a trophy carp regulation on Lady Bird lake...
