Had an interesting experience yesterday while I was bowfishing on the Deep Fork in Oklahoma City. I had been fishing with my dad and brother for about three hours in a location a little bit off the road. We were walking back towards my Jeep and I though I saw something moving inside. When I got close, the guy reclined the seat and was almost laying down. I asked him what he was doing and he said he was picking up his brothers Jeep. I told him to get the hell out of my car and he said "Oh crap, this always happens." I think he was pretty scared to see three guys walking up with their arrows knocked and ready to go. He took off and I wasn't about to chase after a meth-head so I looked in my jeep. He had ripped my CB radio out and threw it into the woods, and ripped all of the plastic from under my steering column and was attempting to hot-wire it. When I looked in the backseat, I realized the idiot left his knife, backpack, cell phone, and a convenient prisoner release form from Midwest City that contained all of his information. It also said that he had a mandatory court date today. I called OKCPD and they picked up all of his things and put a warrant out. Hopefully they catch the guy.I'm sure he has no money to pay for the damage, but hopefully they'll lock him up for a while. Watch out while your fishing, and don't leave anything in your car.

Take that class before they make it illegal to take the class! In Indiana, all we have to do is pass a background check. I wish there was a class, but at the same time I feel like that restricts our 2nd amendment rights. Either way, its better to have one and not need it than vice versa. And yes, the 3 blade would be better. :laugh:

I honestly can't wait to get my conceal and carry. As soon as I turn 21 (what a stupid rule. Really? I have to be 21 to get a f***ing handgun? I can go to Iraq and go shoot them guys with handguns but I can't carry one on my homeland?) Like I was saying, when I turn 21 that's the first thing I'm doing. Hell. I'll even go do that before I go to the bar

Sorry to hear that glad you didnt get knifed or anything. I had my truck broken into twice and a CB stolen where i used to live in Illinois. Not too much crime going on here in the mountains though being theres more guns than people and thats no joke

I'm still floored you can cap a mofo if he's sitting in your ride. So if you're out with Timmy, and his ass is kicked back in the passenger seat, snoring, and you wake him up and tell him to drive....and he says 'nope'....then you can put one in his dome? Just gotta dump some chicken wings on him and tell the cops he was tryin to steal em? That's all?? :laugh:

Fellas, most places all you have to do is prove that you FELT your life, or someone else's life was in danger. All states are not that way, but the stand your ground law basically allows you to use deadly force if you feel threatened. The threat doesn't have to come from your home or vehicle. In Indiana, it reads that you have no obligation to retreat from a threat, or a threat to a third party. That means if you see a D bag beating his ol lady on the side of the road, you can cap his ass....assuming he was not defending himself from an assault from his lady pal. And that goes the other way too, which is a real good reason to keep your yap shut when somebody gets all puffed up at ya. I'd hate to see one of ya get a cap in yo ass because you made an empty threat.

Just destroyed a perfectly good CB and threw it out? Jesus. I'd like to think that if this happened to me I'd put my ccw to use but all of us would probably do what you did.
