I looked for a nice used LH lever bow and couldn't find one.. SO, I'm ordering a new one. But i have a few questions. 1. I noticed in the pics on backwaters page the limbs are painted on some and not on others. 2. Let-off 50, 65, or 80? 3. any reason i shouldn't buy this bow?

There is a nice one in the classfields right now and its a lefty

You're Osprey will come from Backwater with black limbs, let off is all personal preference-I like 0% but will shoot 50, and no there is no reason you shouldn't. The left handed osprey is also a machined riser if I'm not mistaken. Great bows and a great place to order it from. :tu:

The one I seen at Oneida was machined.

There expensive, can buy 3 or 4 discoverys fully rigged for one new left handed osprey bare bow. But u get what you pay for
I can only shoot one at a time. but your bamn right theyre expensive

does let-off effect the "punch" or how hard it hits? I know what what let-off is, jw if it affects anything else
Not to my knowledge, it throws my shooting off BAD tho.

I've been following your prototype builds, and they look like awesome bows. Thats what I would be buying if they were available, but there will be people standing in line for one of your bows, and then another line of people trying to catch a glimpse of one. Any chance you would sell a prototype? Someone who will shoot it 100's of times at-lease 4 nights a week.

Sorry, they have all been spoken for at this time. Once prototype testing is done on these bows we plan on doing some limited releases to start, but we have alot of work to do first. The oneida osprey is a great bow especially the left hand machined riser model. I would get with one of the site sponsors if I were you and see what your options are.

well, im actually trying to put my order in now, the draw lengths from backwater are super short 25-28" med 28-31.5.. and short 27-30 and medium 28-31.5 at bowfishing extreme. backwater charges $75 for med draw, and I will have to pay another 100 for instate taxes
