What would be better 10 300 watt halogens or 4 500 watt halogens and 4 300 watt halogens?
If you go 10 300w's you could go 3 per side,1 per each front corner and 2 in the front. That should cover all of it.Its a 1648 with a a 6 ft deck, i was mainly lookin to get light all around the deck
Thats what i was thinkin, but i wanted to see what everybody thought and i know how good the HPS lights are but my deck is not tall enough for themIf you go 10 300w's you could go 3 per side,1 per each front corner and 2 in the front. That should cover all of it.
I have a fixture thats only 6.6'' tall and will accept a 400w HPS or MH bulb.Thats what i was thinkin, but i wanted to see what everybody thought and i know how good the HPS lights are but my deck is not tall enough for them
HPS and MH pay for themselves in light output, smaller generator with less watts and more lumens"They will pay for themselves in a season just on bulbs "................BULLS--T...Bulbs are 1.00 each on sale at Harbor Frieght and normally 2 for 5.00. You can prefer them but they will not pay for themselves in one season even if you fished every night.
