We shot this fish around 2 Saturday morning. We didnt weigh it until about 12 hours later and it weighed 33 lbs 12 oz. The current Ar unrestricted tackle state record is 36 lbs 5 oz. Would it have weighed that much right after we shot it?

Did you keep him on water for the night? He looks clean!

No it laid in the bottom of the boat for 12 hours in the sun before we weighed it. That pic was taken right after we shot it.
