So my teammate and I took a friend out sunday night for his first ever bowfishing trip. We go to a new lake and when we get there the water was muddy and we couldn't see anything. We left there and went to another lake. We put the boat in and immediately we notice water is coming in. The plug on for the drain was busted. That ended our trip. Today I decided to go do some bank walking. The place I was going is at the bottom of a steep hill. I could see about 15 carp circling right where I was headed. I get halfway down the hill and I slipped. I landed hard and my back popped and all the air in my lungs went out. I was by myself so I called my dad who picked me up and took me to the er. Almost passed out twice due to my blood pressure dropping to 95/68. Six hours 2 cat scans and 4 xrays later and the doctor says I have a contusion in my back. Thank god for pain pills. No bowfishing for me for awhile though. What a crap weekend.
