I am in a rough spot and I am not sure what to do.
I bought a prop from a guy on here awhile back, I sent him the money order for the prop June 8th, he got the money order the 12th. I sent him the price of the prop plus $20 for shipping. The 15th I finaly got a message saying he has shipped it, but he was sorry that his girlfriend sent is USPS rather then UPS. I really didnt like the fact that it was sent USPS but I couldnt do anything about it. After about a week and the prop had still not came in I asked him for the confirmation number, since he didnt get a tracking number when it went sent from the post office.
Well now when I track and confirm the confirmation number I have it tells me the last and only place it had been has been is Warrendale, Pa's sorting facility since the 16th, and it doesnt even tell me an estimated delivery date. The guy who I bought the prop from has really not said much and I have been handling everything myslef with USPS and it looks like they have lost the package.
After I talk to the guy I bought it from I asked him if he put insurance on the package, guess what, he didnt. So I asked if he was going to refund me if the package was lost, his reply "we will see"
So now it looks as if I am out the money for the prop. I know it is not my fault the prop was lost neither the sellers, but I am being punished for it not being sent usps, or fedex, and not having a tracking number, and not having insurance put on it so I could atleast get my money back and everything would be fine.
So now I do not know what to do, it really doesnt matter who lost the prop. If i dont get what I paid for I should get a refund.
