I will post all the details tomorrow nite after we meet about the state shoot. Time,location,and all the details. It will be the last weekend in July so start making plans. Thanks, Matt.

Okay here it is. The shoot will be based out of Statesville area. Exact location will be announced by the end of the week.
$150 entry fee per boat
3 man team max
No grass carp allowed(there are reasons for this, to help the sport)
All other game fish are legal
Check in is 6pm on Sat the 30th
Blast off is 7 pm
Weigh in is 8 am Sun 31st
Big 20 format
Big fish payout
Shoot will be open to any navigable waters in NC
Any other details will be announced

Now for the State Shoot: Sign in / weigh in will be in the back parking lot at Troys Restaurant just off I-40 exit 144 in Statesville N.C. located on the North side of the interstate. The address is 1968 Old Mt. Road Statesville N.C. 28625. The sign in will open at 6:00 pm on Saturday July 30 2011 and blast off at 7:00pm. The weigh in will be @ 8:00am on Sunday morning. This tournament will be a state wide event. You will be able to shoot any public body of water that has a public boating access in the state of N.C. You have to be at sign in before blast off to register. The format will be a big 20 The entry fee is $150.00 per team. 3 person max per team. All non game fish is legal to weigh in EXCEPT for grass carp. We will not weigh in any grass carp for this event. Please feel free to call

It's hard to say. Would love to have 20-30 boats but probably around the same as we had last year but I do not have those exact #. David has those. We want as many people to participate as possible but we don't know till that day. I know for sure of 5 teams but can't speak for anyone else.
