Which One?

I am new to bowfishing and to this site. I am looking at buying a new rig. Out of these 2 which one would you buy and why. I am also on a budget.

The PSE Nova and Barracuda

I have a PSE Nova and to me it works great for bowfishing.

from what I gather that depends on your draw length...the Nova has a longer axle-axle,which is what you want for a longer draw length

Thanks. I have a 28.5 DL and leaning towards the Nova.

I beleive thats Old Bald Guys draw length too and he does very well with the Cuda.....hit him up,he will tell you everything you could wanna know

Cuda it is much faster and lighter. You will shoot 30 to 40w dos faster with same arrow at that draw length. I have shot both and there is no comparison to me.

I have also been looking at the AMS Fire Eagle, How does it compair to the cuda?

My buddy shoots a fire eagle set at 43lbs and my cuda is maxed out at 40. The cuda shoots much harder than the fire eagle. Cuda is lighter and less expensive. Both are fish killers though so to each his own.

I would go with the Cuda over the Nova but thats jmo. The cuda's draw length goes back to 30 so draw wont be an issue. Its shoots harder and is lighter. Check the cam lean on either if you decide to get one before you shoot it. I had to do a quick 10 minute cam tune when i took it out of the box.

How is the finger pinch on the Cuda at 30?

Between the Cuda and the Nova, Id choose the Nova because it gives you no finger pinch, and the let off is perfect for my style of shooting

Lol, I havent experience finger pinches yet, my draw is at 29 and I have big hands.

Thats usually when you get it(I have big fingers and a long draw length)but if you arent right on!!

Maybe Im just lucky or the way I space my finger when I shoot. im glad that it doesnt happen to me because that would make for a bad experience.

Well I picked up a cuda today. I also have a AMS reel combo on order and it should be here friday. Thanks for the help.
