How does everyone shoot shorter axle to axle compounds? Last year I bought a brand new Menace to keep on the boat as a backup because it fits in my rear box easily. Now my Oneida is my go to bow and I shoot it great. But I have a little more trouble being consistent with the menace due to some string pinch. I've tried shooting 1 over 2 under (which feels best but I know I'm getting more string pinch) and 2 under feels awkward but definitely less pinch. I love the smoothness of it but just don't shoot it as well. Thought about selling it or trading towards another Oneida or something else longer ata.
How does everyone else shoot theirs?

Just finished up the hoyt[28 ata] we shoot 2 and 3 under on all our bows but did go to long eared nocks think that is a must for us anyway we build our own from alum. but there is a retailer that sells long eared plastic ones.

I tried 3 under but it seems like it gets a little over draw on the bottom cam and the arrow gets a little tail drop coming off the rest. You can shoot it 2 under and it helps the tail whip. Shoots bullet holes with a release, but I hate a release for bowfishing. I may have to look into those long eared nocks for it though. What's the idea behind those nocks?

on the short ata bows when its fully drawn look at how the short ear nock is barely on the string sometimes will come off the string just as you fire the arrow particular after things get worn a little!!

I'm not crazy about the short ATA, even on a hunting bow. I just like how easy it is to get the menace out of the way in my rear box, and like you said turkey, short bows are all the rage right now, but I definitely prefer the older long ata compounds and the Oneidas. My aero force is much more pleasurable to shoot.

Don,t remember for sure but Arizona archery comes to mind[ Kuger will remember ]the short ata bows are popular for me anyway for shooting above the rail on the boat and the rest on a short axel bow makes a difference!
