I don't know how many times in just the past week I've heard this.... "I mean its just bowfishing...." its drives me insane. I enjoy this sport and i enjoy finding out what works the best and how to tune it the best and how to shoot it the best and just all around enjoy it. I don't know why people say "its just shooting fish just take it out and shoot it"... NOOOO I want it to take it out and shoot it RIGHT . I mean call me a perfectionist if you want but to me its more then just shooting fish. i enjoy the equipment part of it as well. so when people ask why spend the money or why bother making it perfect it "really grinds my gears" lol
anyone else bothered by this?

I say it all the time. and im i small time string builder/ retail shop... so when guys come in and go "you do all that to shoot fish?" i about have a breakdown

Haha I think bowfishing is about the worst thing you can do if you want to keep true archery skills in place. I cant think of a single scenario of where I would be cruising along 5mph above deer and then snap shooting at a giant white glowing deer blob shape under me within 0.25 seconds hoping to just hit any part of the blob that is possible...hahaha
Ever since I started bowfishing I have almost quit deer hunting and regular fishing. I still love to hunt and fish but you only have time for so many hobbies.

Love to deer hunt too but they keep talking that mad deer brain disease find I,m eating more fish, have read that that prion will stay in the soil a long ,long time and scavengers scatter it could be a time bomb pray not!!
