Lipsmacker and I will be up early, were going back over to Ducky's and look at a couple boats before the shoot!
Make sure you all bring your RAIN COATS!

went out last night....the river is really good clarity saw alot of carp, but they were all small and only saw a couple 20+ pounders. The water is really low and we couldn't even get into the grass patches without hitting bottom. We are going to sit this one out. We busted the trolling motor up pretty good. Bring your waders or water shoes!!!!!:cheers::grin:

Again Ken from Alpha Archery put on a great tournament. Had some real big fish, biggest was 38 lbs. probably a total of 10-15 fish over 25lbs. Things got alittle hairy when the boats couldn't get back to the launch because of flooding from the 6 hrs of rain during the shoot, the launch dock was under water. Hotrodderscott and I came in 3rd with 245lbs of carp, Captainjacks team 2nd with 247lbs. and the winning team 254lbs (if any guys from the winning team are on BFC let us know who you are, but congratulations).

Wow ! what a night, always a great tourny by Ken BUT the rain was insane, several downpours caused the swatara creek to go wild, looked like ya could go white water rafting 3-4 ft swells. 4 boats could not make the ramp ,trees, logs ,dabree of all kinds, and fast water, very dangerious. everyone made in saftly using other ramps. Coming soon the 2nd. Annual Victoria Memorial Bowfishing tournament, September 10, 2011 @ Middletown, Pa. public launch, Hope to see everyone there. more info will be posted

Water was fine before the rain started but really muddied fast after the 6" of rain stopped. We were one of the boats that did not make it up to the launch in the am. We won but not by much. We call ourselves "team both barrels". Thanks Ken for another great adventure.
