Thanks folks! Got the GPS put in and most of the accessories wired up to the 8 switch panel! 7" garmin on a ram mount so I can see when running the outboard and turn it to see off the deck when we're trolling

Took it out Saturday, and other than finding out I need a larger fuel tank, everything went good. Motor pushes 36 mph and troller pulls 3.5 according to the garmin.

Thanks Dustin! Yeah,I'm doing 14 50w customfits. Hoping to have the rail welded before Friday, and then get the lights on this weekend, if they're done

A little progress to report!.....got my flag evinrude decals and finally finished the outboard

Found a reputable shop to do some welding work for me and got the rail welded up-14" off the gunnels, more than plenty of room for the lights, and safer for my daughter to be up there on the deck. Really like how it turned out

Went and picked up the 14 50w customfits internals with some beefier aluminum brackets

drilled the top rail and carriage bolted the brackets to it, rather than weld them to the rail. Running the lights 24v, on a Bigfoot switch, batteries under the deck.

how do you like those customfitz lights? I bought chips and drivers from them with intentions of doing the same thing as you. I just havnt found any housings with good heat sinks yet

Love my custom fitz lights. Lights they are though
