attention lowcountry bowfishers salt water shoot cancelled

the saltwater shoot will be canceled due to lack of interest...... however, we will still have a tournament that night as it wouldnt be fair to teams in the points race to take away a tournament all together....

two ideas we are kicking around.....

the upstate club is having a tournament that night on lake murray. one option is for all of us to go up there and shoot their tournament and show them boys what the lowcountry teams are all about.... we would keep up with the lowcountry teams and how they finish, and award points accordingly just as we would if it was our own tournament.

another option is to put all of the ramps we shoot into a hat, and at 12 the day of the tournament we draw a ramp to shoot. no trailering... big ten...


who wants to do what?

i vote for murray.... the lakes have been getting pounded this year... lets take it up there and have a good time... maybe with a little support from lowcountry, the upstate boys will come down and play with us more in the future....

We will let all non member boats shoot this tourney for the same entry fees as members ...yall come on up :tu:

No offense to the upstate club but I really don't want to go to Murray. I think the only ones that will show up are the top points teams. If we have to have another August shoot then keep it down here or move it to September even.

That will probably be the case at either option. we only had 5 members show up to the santee shootout out of the 14 boats there.

we also voted to shoot saltwater, but no one wants too now.... so now we gotta vote on what we gonna do instead... im game for either... but my vote is for murray, just to switch things up a bit... there has been alot of tournaments on the lake this year already...
