Arrow weight on fishing arrows varies a TON, Speed doesnt kill fish, kinetic energy is where your penetration comes from.
True.. But I'd rather have some idea than none at all!!

This is exactly why we need to compile a list of bows and with each bow maxed out to whatever weight it will allow shoot a fish arrow with whatever tip.. And get a rough idea of a bowfishing ibo!!
Good idea. :tu: Same arrow weight and draw length. Some people will be happy--more will be pissed but let the chips fall where they may. Gargod should do this test. Let's take up a collection to cover expenses.

I shoot higher poundage because I like it!! If I shoot a carp at 15-20 yards broad side and is 2-3 foot down and the point doesn't go clear through then tell me what I need?? If my bow is perfectly tuned and I'm loose g fish because I'm not getting proper penetration then what should I do?? Crank the F**ker up!!!
Or get rid of the let-off and speed that ****** up.

Kuger called my Cuda a kids bow on another thread about 15mins ago and I thought it was funny. I bet his arm hurts after holding that heavy bow for about 4 hours. Hunt smarter not harder.
X 100,000. That's what I've been screaming all along.A little light draw weight bow with a dead nuts tune that shoots fast will kill 90+% of the fish you ask it to if you do your part.

I know Kuger day fishes mostly so I wont rag on him too much.:tu:

Just an FYI, we didn't sell the bow but you do realize the limbs are now 30/50 or close. The decals still read 35/55 but they only come 30/50 now. It is not uncommon to have a variance in limb weight and scales for that mater. I have seen as low as 46 and as high as 53 come in, also 1 more thought, did you adjust the weight? They do not come maxed out from the factory!!! Hope that helps!

Careful Hoopty, I still shoot my 35/55's at 52#'s. Clear water makes you do crazy things!!!!!!

If you get a cuda I wont talk to you anymore...I can only handle one guy with a cuda...
Wheeew,I re read what I said!!!Budweiser was talkin!!Damn,I gotta quit drinkin!!Sorry!!

Im not bashing Oneida but they do need to come up with a better way of advertising their weight range, it seems everyone gets different answers according to what day of the week it is as to what their bows are built at. Lots of confusion here and it hasnt been addresed at all...
