running at 90%

is it alright to run a genny at 90% if running halogens?

It will shorten the life of your genny.....

NOOOOOO!!! haha I ran a 3000 watts of halos on a 3000 watt genny for 8 hours and well now it has a hard time running 4 500w halos. haha dont do it!!!

For a short time otherwise your genny wont last. Remember watts are watts...the generator doesnt care what it is powering.

i run a 3500w genny with 3000w of light for over a year and it still runs like a champ and thats about 85% load
