I've been thinking about purchasing a new boat some time this coming fall and would like some input form you guys. I'm looking for a boat that will fit a platform for 3 to 4 people, a raised genny rack, and possibly a camera stand. I would like to be at or over 16' and only interested in buying a hull because I already have a motor I can use. Price range is from $0 to $4000

i would look for a 1660 or a 1670 atleast that big. but chances are you wont get one for under 5500. im in the process of looking for the same. right now my best candidate is a 1670 from ALWELD. was quoted one last week at 6300. that was wired with a extended front deck and a treadplate floor.(what they call their LA package.) good luck in your search.

Just watch craigslist and other sites plus here you will find what your looking for.

save up a couple more grand and just have a custom hull built. i priced a 1754 alumacraft and a 1754 war eagle and there was only about a 1300 dollar difference between them and my phowler i'm having built and the phowler has all the things i want where the others i would have had to spend more on them to get them there.
