The HBC night shoot will be held at River Junction just south of Americus, IN. This is a put in/take out shoot- no trailering. This will be a 2/3 person numbers shoot ($60 entry fee whether 2 or 3 shooters) with big fish awards in the following categories: Silver Carp, Bighead Carp, Grass Carp, Common Carp, Buffalo (big and smallmouth), Gar (short and longnose), Bowfin, and Average Joe. This year ALL legal fish will count towards team‘s totals again this year(suckers weren‘t allowed in the past), so we are expecting harvest numbers to be extremely high. I will be paying out 1-3 placings if there are under 25 teams and 1-5 if there are more than 25 (subject to change pending participant opinions). All shooters need to be registered by 6 P.M. so we can have prize give aways and raffles. The rules meeting will be at 6:30. The shoot will be from 7 P.M. Saturday to 6 A.M. on Sunday. Every shooter will receive a free door prize donated by our sponsors: Muzzy Products, Bowfishing Extreme, AMS Bowfishing, Cajun Archery, and several others. If you need more info. email me at dchouse22@yahoo.com.

Everyone is welcome! Just a few questions I was asked this weekend. This is a BAA sanctioned event- both my shoots are. First place is usually in the $300-400 range (depending on number of teams). I pay out all placings and big fish from the team entry fees. There is a $5 big fish side pot that is optional (if one shooter enters, the whole team has to). All legal species will be allowed again this year (16 different fish). Average weight of fish shot is close to 10 lbs (would be higher if suckers weren't counted). Yes, we have both Asian carp varieties bigheads and silver (jumping). Bigheads aren't as big and abundant as on Ohio River and we aren't yet infested with silvers like the Illinois River, yet. This is a put in take out shoot on rivers with strong current in places and are very low during this time of year. If you have any other questions I didn't address let me know.

joe you cant come darn it there was only a couple of us with air boats lol. But one good thing is i have learned alot about this river from last year hope that will help us this year. It was a good time. Tim you need to go up to MI and shoot caseville. I am gonna miss that one this year it is killing me.

The more airboats, the better Warren. I love beating airboats...lol remember, a go devil won first last year. Three airboats last year and only one finished in the money... The defending champs weren't there last year either. My shoots are not huge, but there are some of the best shooters in Indiana in them. Not a slam on anyone in Indiana, but the guys know how to get it done. Great competition every year, and we've only had repeat winners once in the 5 years. I just like new people to come shoot so they can see the variety we have-as you have seen since you've moved here. Airboat, jonboat, tugboat, come one, come all...

No trailering means you have to put your boat in at the ramp where the tournament is held- all equal start and finish. Trailering means you can go places other than the tournament site to put in. Yes, you can use your trailer to launch your boat...

i wouldnt waste the time going to this shoot unless you dont mind coming in at second or lower! lol!! im planning on a repeat of last year. seriously though this is a great shoot. i would highly recomend everyone to attend. dusty does a great job at putting on a good shoot.

Come on Shane, It's my turn to win once. I've spotted everyone 11 HBC tournaments to win, I think I might give it a whirl this year...lol My tournaments go so well because of the great group of shooters we have and we don't have to mess with controversy or any bs. I've got my system down, and just run them like a well-oiled machine and churn them out year after year...lol Great participants, and of course, our great base of sponsors make the HBC shoots a great time for all. Thanks again to our great sponsors: AMS Bowfishing, Muzzy Products, Bowfishing Extreme, and Cajun Archery.

Ahh makes sense. I've never done a tourny and I don't suspect we'd win but this could be fun anyway.

It's definitely worth the time to experience my shoots or any shoot.

So when u say thag it is fast flowing and shallow. What type, style, size of boat should not attend? We dont wanna come to strange waters and get into trouble
