Heck no.... We went lastnight and didnt see a fish in smith mountain.. not sure how to fish the cold waters.. anyone got any advice??

I have been bugging the chit out of my buddy that I fish with to go out and give it a try (he owns the boat). I really want to head out to one of our shallow spots that always produces in warmer weather. We have never been out in the cold, but I have a feeling we would see some fish if I could convince him to quit being a p*ssy. I fish around Richmond, btw.

Yup.. me and leroy and a few other buddies have been doing pretty good.. has slowed down a bit from the cooler weather. But id say in 2 weeks will be full on spawn..

yeah we shot some in northern VA a few weekends ago & are going to that same spot next weekend (hopefully)... if their as active as they were or more, we should have a blast sticking a barrell or two full... hopefully no rain this week to keep the river water clear for us

We went to the new river sat night and like to of froze!! But 2 in the boat and one was 26lbs. And the other was 15-18lbs.. didnt see many fish tho. Water is still to cold

Yes, Yes and Yes... We were up a few feeder creeks two weeks ago and water temps were in the high 60's although none of the carp were spawing. Most of the carp we have been shooting have been on the deeper channel shelfs in a little cooler water. The gar on the other hand are every where.

Im looking to join a Bofishing team in NOVA... Havent heard about a lot of shooting going on up here i just recently moved from AL and am used to shooting every weekend.. could someone help me out please

Get with Derek with Team River Rat boowfishing. I think they shoot up that way alot. We are in SW va if yur ever dwn this way give us a shout!!
