I have a 30 hp Kohler with arrow prop reduction and 54" 3 blade prop, 18 pitch, It's getting mounted on a 2072 commercial hull. I'm a little worried about it not having enough azz.... So If I didn't like how it pushed it would I be able to tell a noticeable difference if I jumped up to a 6 blade prop? In theory double the prop double the thrust right? Let's hear your thoughts... I will keep the diameter of the prop the same... Help me out guys.
Number of fan blades 3,4,5, or 6???

What I worried about is on my old boat I had the same set up but the hull was a 1860 creastliner mod V. A lot lighter them my new boat. It ran 6-7 mph. Since my new boat it like twice the weight how an I going to be able to get the speed back up to or above 6-7 mph. I really don't wanna go slower...
