So I just bought a spinner and reading posts on heat im comfused. I shoot a quick draw rest and it sounds like I would be better tying to the back, will this work with the quick draw? I need pics, I'm a visual guy. I ordered some monkey wire and want to know how to tie to the back. thanks

i shoot a quick draw only rest i will shoot... it isnt recomended to shoot tieing to the back. but i do occasionally tie to the back you just have to make sure you line is inside the rest.

Depends on the bow... I had my discovery 2 shooting bullets with a fish hook tied the back, then put a QD on to try and could not get it to shoot consistent. It was all over the place. Now i have the same rest and the same reel with slightly different line on my Black Eagle and its the straghtest shooting mofo you will find... Just gotta try it on yours... I find it shoots the best+least tangles with the line laying underneath the arrow in the rest rather then on top like some shoot. Just my observation.

spend the 4 dollars and get some safety slides then all you have to worry about is the button :tu:
save yourself the $4 and then you dont even have to worry about the button... because you cant shoot without pressing it....

im getting used to using a spinner and do this more than i should go to draw back and the arrow comes off the string. but im getting better with it. i will never go back to safety slides or retrievers.

went out for the first time with the reel and tied to the rear, I like it! Reel seems faster and like the fact tha I don't have worry about the bottle when setting down the bow. I did leave the line out of the qd rest once and didn't get snap back and actually hit the fish. Whats the deal with spraying silicone on the line? I take it you take the reel cap of and spray the line, do you do this once a night? Thank for all the good responces.
