Had one quit last night. I'm thinking wire broke loose where it's soldered.

Any suggestions as to where to start looking ?

Pull the cover of the drive housing and check the wires from the cord to the driver and from the driver going threw into the front housing. If that's not the problem you have to pull the front of and check the wires to the chip.
I would guess if you never reglued the drivers to the cover I would say the factory hot glue came off and the driver bounced around till the wires came loose.

Good advice right there. like you said with the up and down temps and the expand and contrast of the housing probly let for a free flaoting driver witch made loose conections. remove fuse before taking apart the housing. then start looking for loose or broken wires. if you think you found the culprit replace the fuse to test before reassembly. dont get scared yet probly an easy fix.

Ok Thanks guys. Seems to me someone showed on here where the solder connections in these lights were not the best. Cbow, not your lights, customfitz, thanks.

Mighta been my thread where ya saw the crappy soldering. When I tore my 10 lights apart, Id say 3 or 4 soldered connections were broke with little movement or already broken. Most werent soldered well at all. I could almost promise the connection at the chip is the issue.

Take the front cover, glass, reflector off and give it a quick check. EZ fix is so.
