Went out for the first trip of the year on a small open spot on Lake Thompson in South Dakota, everything in the area is ice yet. Didn't see any carp but there happened to be thousands of snow geese and all kinds of different ducks roosted here. The birds had no idea what was happening and was one of the most amazing things we've ever experienced, ducks jumping in the boat, getting shat on, and probably got hit 20 times by flyers. Will be a night we'll never forget, video doesn't do it justice.
