Ky lake and tailwaters

i went out last night on the LBL side of the lakes for about 5 hours and saw a handful of gar and silvers were jumping all over but only saw one carp due to how murky the water was. Barkley was real muddy and Kentucky lake was a little better. we shot two gar and a carp and missed and handful of other fish because i just started bowfishing and still cant hit crap!

water is WAY up like 30ft above normal below the dam.. Im sure it is muddy and they have all the gates open so it is VERY dangerous!! if you go be careful

You got a little bit of a ride, but I'm going out to shoot fields in Woodlawn tn right now and tonight. You can tag along with me if you want.

The Corps is closing boat ramps below dams and are not allowing any access at all within certain boundaries. The new boundaries don't allow you to get anywhere near the dams. This is a very hot topic on the all the fishing forums. If you do some searching you can find info on these new changes. Luckily the T.V.A. runs KY Lake and the changes don't effect it.

I hope they break it off in the Corps. A government entity that thinks they report to no one.

It sucked people running generators and waking people by running 15 feet from us at least. It's nothin but aggrevating to me. Shot down there 3 hours and said screw it. Spoonies were up a little but nothing crazy but I don't think it would get good with outboards running in and out every 5-10 mins. That was my last trip to fish those dams. They are not the same anymore and much Better fishing in other places. We were down their for memorial weekend and decided to try it. I should have just ran some more of the lake. Fish were moving on the lake but have to find the cleaner water
