you could possibly charge a battery but you couldn't have a load on it (the battery) while charging

 

Fyi. I've tried using that for Nav. lights and was burning out bulbs every few hours.:cen::headbang: I was hoping I had a brilliant idea.

 

My yamahas have that and the manual said you can't have a load on it and the ecomode has to be off. I've used it to charge troller batteries between spots.
