Hey guys I just bought my first boat to rig out, only problem is its a 15' semi-v. I got a great deal so I couldn't pass it up. I've been bowfishing for a couple years now using a buddies 14' flat bottom so I have no idea how rigging out a semi-v is gonna work. I have been going over it in my head since I bought the boat on how I could build the deck and I'm coming up short on ideas. The picture doesn't really show how wide it is but its around 4 1/2 to 5 feet wide just past the v. I have been talking with a friend who has worked with aluminum before and one of the ideas is just to cut the v out and make it a flat bottom to make things easier. If anyone has a better idea or suggestion I would appreciate it greatly.
