16" of ice

Took out the spear house today.there was 16"of ice onthe lake.passed up a carp but couldn't pass on the dogfish tho.

You have a decoy down to attract in northern pike but the carp and dog fish are just a bonus

Man that looks like some clear water. It's hard to find a good clear lake to spear on in our area. It is a blast when the pike come flying in

really ? were sitting at about 14 inches now , do you got a lot of snow on the ice ice or what ?

I live in central Mn and we have about 14-16 inches on most of the lakes. Even Mille Lacs has good ice, just have to watch for big cracks.

we cant spear anything u can eat here. unless ya can draw a tag n get a day to try n get a sturgeon.
