With guys and gear it will run 6mph and push 6"hard bottom, IM looking for a 30+HP engine to make we fly

What about a small aircooled VW motor. Seen them on small airboats before. A 1600 DP motor is around 51-52 HP I believe. Probably weighs around 150lbs if I was to guess. Nothing that some float pods wouldnt take care of.

no reverse set up with rudders but that is kinda what I was thinking

I would think that a push pull system would work alot better. If you have somone standing next to you. It looks like you might push them right off the deck?

Yes i did but only a 20hrs it works flawless

How stable is the boat? I would think it would be as tippy as a pivoting pusher fan.

Mud didn't you use one on your build. Additionally I believe it won't be as tippy on a static mount with rudder as a pivoting mount.
