We won! lol we weighed in 8 bigheads and a silver ... and a hybrid I am pretty sure.. .. 176 lbs... sadly the only thing big on the bigheads ... was the head... but no one else found big ones either!

2" drain,new trailer,and pods all smoothed!

got the transom all buttoned up, the original top caps still fit makin the top of the tranny 20.5"
Image

got the magnesium plug out. some how without tearing up the thereads to bad. after running the new tap in a few times she accepts a pvc plug very well!
Image

the new trailer!!! will be much better than the light weight jon boat trailer that only has 1500lb springs and axle. this one i found on craigslist for 250$!!! it is 20' long and already set for a 16' boat. the 3500lb single axle should be exactly whats needed. its 80" between the fenders and all galvanized! i wanna put a "pontoon trailer" stair case on the front and aluminum custom fenders. and you know its gonna get L.E.D.s like crazy!:hb:

Well for starters the 10k part is kinda scary lol, plus the boat i'm using right now doesn't have a tall enough transom so i'd rather get a different boat to do it to. I even have a buddy who is a AWESOME welder and works a fabrication shop so i could get alum at cost and have him weld it! Man i wish my boat now had a wee bit taller transom!

started the deck

so i was a little dissapointed after filling the boat with water i put 4-6" in it and crawled underneth to find 15-20 pin holes where there were impurities in my welds. its nothin bad but i will still flip it over and spot the troubled areas later.
Image

i managed to get the deck out lined its 80"wide across the back, 62.5"across the front, and 87" long!!! between the rear uprights will be all one step. im still tryin to figure out the final storage layout. i hate wastin space but with a deck this size its gonna be hard to utilize all the space underneth.
Image

in my experience it is best to have multiple lights on the corners to ensure no dark spots, so i made the front corners 45* to allow for more lights to make the turn. the deck is 10"off the rail and 31" off the floor at the back.
Image

i tried to keep the natural curve of the rail and the flare of the sides to extend upward to the deck. hopefully it will keep line hang ups minimal as the leds will be fully under the deck and unexposed.
