The motor is a year 2000, it was bought brand new by me in 2006, at the time of the purchase I was asked if I wanted the computer upgrade package for the new e-tech models...Hence it being a e-tec. It is fuel and oil injected. The motor has had only one owner---me. The motor is the best motor I have ever owned, I would keep it for my new boat if I could (its hard to sell just a hull) So I hope this answers the questions on the motor. Thank you
