Hello Folks,

About to get a Costco (Yamaha) 2000w generator; however wanted to poll the group. Which is the quietest generator for the dollar?

I dont know about the Costco Yamaha, but the Yamaha-Yamaha 2000w, and Honda 200w are the most coveted ones out there. I have been doing some searching and I think I have found one that might be close enough and cheap enough to try. Westinghouse 2200w every review on Home depots website is a 4-5 star.

Can only speak for the Yamaha 2000, after about 5 minutes on the boat I don't rven know its running. Is the Costco made by Yamaha I take it? What does it cost?

X2 on the yamaha. I live mine. I did a bunch of research before buying. The yamaha and the honda are real close. Couldn't go wrong with either. I just like blue and got a better on the yamaha. I can run about 6.5 hr with my setup before I need to refuel.

I am going to have to pull the trigger on one of these generators myself this week. Any up to date suggestions would be appreciated.
