Post dates here for Indiana tournaments. I am looking to put together a bowfishing series in Indiana and would like to know what dates are still available for tournaments, and if there would be any interest in such a thing. This series/club would have a membership fee and a series of tournaments that accumulate points for a series winner with a hefty payout. Combination of lakes and rivers, days and nights, could make for a very interesting and fun series. Post any thoughts or opinions here!

I checked out your Association, it looks like it is very well put together. I feel that there is a demand for a central Indiana series or club with some similarities with the DRBA. I will most likely have a team at the Tough Man shoot on Patoka but that is probably the only one my team will be able to make it to. The series that I would like to organize and promote would not be in competition with the DRBA. I would plan tournament dates around your Indiana tournaments so a conflict will not occur.

Our club is having a shoot June 11 and 12, in Mongo, IN. We had one last year and it went real well. We donated half the monies to Riley Childrens Hospital. This year we are donating to the FHFH. When we get the flier done I will post it. Should be done in the next couple of weeks

The HBC day shoot is on June 18th this year and the night shoot will be August 20th. I'll get a flier up here within the month once I get sponsor info. taken care of.

Let me know what you want to do with the series. I might be having a shoot on Lake Shafer and Freeman at the beginning of May to coincide with the spawn, have my other two shoots, and there are two shoots on Lake Manitou in Rochester, IN ran by Brett Zartman. I'll be at the Tough Man, so we can talk face to face.

Sounds good! I really think there will be a lot of interest in a series. I am in the process of launching a website that will have a series page and information about how it will be scored and regulated. Can't wait for Tough Man!

Would anyone be up for a tournament on the White River, June 4th day shoot, around Martinsville, IN?
That is the day of the North vs. South Cajun Classic on the Lakes and Tailwaters in KY. You should try coming to it. It usually has alot of boats there and pretty large payouts. Always a good time.

From what I hear, the White River won't attract many shooters because of the shallow water, logs, and bottlenecks that create extremely fast water. From what I have heard it's pretty dangerous in spots, so I won't shoot it. I shoot the Tippy up here that's shallow, but it's just a smaller river. I'd be interested in lake shoots if they were the right dates. Just letting you know my thoughts.

I am working on finalizing a tournament on Lake Lemon for May 14, but we will have one on Cecil M. Harden (Raccoon) Lake on June 25. I will post flyers sometime soon.. I will be posting information for the Indiana Professional Bowfishing Series next week.

I hope this would be a night shoot cause of the amount of boaters on this lake during the day. I know this lake very well and the shooting sucks in the day but is decent at night. Wouldnt be a high number tourney. PM me if you want any more info on this lake or surrounding lakes.
