hey customfitz, can you get the large 50w led floods, like shown it the above pictures. lektron 50w LED floods 110v, how much a piece?

Are the 35W worth the money compared to the 27's? Whats your comparison of those two?

i have been working on the 40w led right now they seem to be same light but much longer the trouble is the 27w price vs the 40w is big

here is the 50w

These are 50w, 110v, 370mm x 285mm x 120mm, and 90$ a piece, I will be ordering 6 as soon as I get my wife's hands unclinched, lmao...

You should be good to go. 50watt x 14= 700 total watts. 50 watt/120volts=.42 amps x 14= 5.8 total amps.

Housing conversion sizes:
50 watt housings: 11.4 X 7.2 X 9.2

100 watt housings: 14.5 X 11.2 X 4.7

OK with the 110 50 watt runing them off a generator would it be possable to run all 14 of mine off a 1000 watt gen or is that not posable because of the amps or what

IF IF these light are only truely pulling 50 watts your fine as the guys above pointed out but IF they end up pulling 69 watts like the sticker on the other lights says your not going to have enough juice for 14

I would make a bet that the 50 watters are gonna pull more than 50 watts.The 50 watt Lektron I looked at yesterday pulls 69 watts each.

Whoops...you know what? The light I looked at was 12 volts DC not 120 AC. Don't know if that makes a difference on wattage,but I thought I would clarify.

So I've reread this thread several times. I just want to make sure I got it before I order. If I want to run "silent", 12V, 10-16 27w LEDs are my best bet. 50w lights would be better but they're heavy and could have potential to burn out wires and switches, if not set-up properly.

Is that the basics of it?

you can burn up wires and switches with 27 watt lights just the same if you put to many on to small of a switch or small wires

11 27watts are going to require about the same power as 6 of the 50's

Any light can overload the circuit if the amps get too high.
This is why they say have a qualified electrician install. lol
