Here is a Picture of NIGHT VENTURE BOWFISHING guide boat (not my boat!!!!)
These are 50 watt LED's from Lektron Lighting, I am basing my purchase on my conversations with Jack (owner of this boat) I will be running the same set up 6 up front 2 in the back!

IF you do a search you should be able to find the original thread he posted about them back in December.

I forgot about these pics. I'm thinking about doing 4 of the 100w. I'm just worried about coverage but the 50w and 100w housings seem to be good with that.

Scott7030 i think you mite be able to get by with that what i did was hook up 2 lights held one in each hand off to my side at night then slowly brought them together till the beams overlapped a good amount measured the distance between them and mounted them that way. We can cover a light in the middle and it dont make alot of difference . But i will say the more leds the better the lighting but i kinda think like go big or go home . I liked the quiteness but really liked the fact that my eyes didnt hurt at the end of the night like they did looking at halos all night.

From my understanding the 100 watt are 110 volt only and heavier. Possibly 30 pounds because of the large passive heat sink. In the future the weight and power of LED's will come down as the LED's are "driven harder" and active heat sinks are used!!!

Yep, Its lookin like march is the future.:hb:
you can get the 100w in 12-24vdc, not sure if customfitz can, but they list them on Alibaba

Yeah I remember hearing they were heavy like that because of the heat sink and then we saw that specs that said they were about 12 lbs. If they are really 30 lbs like I heard too then the 50w or even the 20w with the same type housings someone else found i guess would be the way to go.

Hacksaw thanks for the great info. I am hoping customfitz can get some of the 20 watt floods with the lektron style fixtures. If Not I will order a few 50's and try them out.
