If your running 12 halos I would probly start with 10 50 watt leds.
300 watt halo = 5000 lumen
50 watt LED = 5000 - 5500 Lumen
But to make a FAIR comparison between a Directional LED and a conventional bulb you need to multiply the LED lumen X3 so...
50 watt LED = 5000 - 5500 X 3 = 15000 - 16500 Lumen!
So this makes a 50 watt LED slightly brighter the a 175 Watt Metal Halide!!!


I am going from 10 225 ultra halos up front to 6 50 watt LEDs and will also be running 2 in the rear for a total of 8 50 watt LEDs
(will be the same setup as picture on Night Venture Bowfishing boat that I posted pictures of on this thread)

I will let you no how they are when they come in I ordered 8 50watt leds tonight cant wait.
I ordered 8 50 watters last Sunday, should be in this week!!!!

CUSTOMFITZ IS THE MAN! I went with the 27's got 12 of them. I am quite impressed with the test results of 1. caint wait to see what 12 look like! my first L.E.D.s im excited to enjoy peace and quiet for once! look out. . . . . . . team"DEPRIVED of REFRACTION" is gonna rock the "tough man tourney" !

Awesome, I ordered two to give a try. If nothing else, I will replace my halogen floodlights above the garage door and save some $ on my PGE bill
 
thats the ones that im trying to get the 50 watt
