It is that time…..
Once again I am so excited about this event approaching! The Missouri Dept of Conservation along with Missouri Whitetails is proud to host the 3rd Annual Missouri Youth Bowfishing Event! We have so many folks that jumped on board when this was just a "dream" to help make this an Annual Event! The part that makes me even happier is every boat that came the first year returned last year as well as the fact we added more boats and youth! That’s a pretty cool fact in its self!
I can't thank the Aimlow boys and Cajun Archery enough! They were the very first contacts when this event was just in the planning stages! The support and guidance from them has been a huge factor in the success of this event and their advice and guidance has been priceless!
Muzzy and Ams have also since day one helped to make sure all our equipment needs were satisfied!
Last year The Bowfisher Magazine came aboard to cover the event. This provided us a window to promote the sport, highlight the accomplishments of the youth involved, and provide some credit to all those responsible for making the event possible!
Aimlow and prostaffers, The Bowfisher and prostaffers and all the individual members here that have made the drive, some covering long distances, pulling their boats so the kids can all get on the water at once are the folks I have the hardest time finding a way to properly express how important they are to the event. Words just don't express how cool it is to see a whole line of boats and owners waiting not to go shoot themselves but to take out new first time kids and teach them about the sport!
Anyway enough rambles here is the flyer for this year’s event! I hope all the past helpers are able to return once again and if anyone else wants to be apart in of this event in any way just let me know!
