Had a feeling that the catfish would be up on the mud flats spawning, so I gave Justin Duke a call and off we went to a my favorite shooting hole. The water was a lot cleaner than we were expecting after all the bad weather that passed thru here the past few days. The cats are deffinately spawning and we got into them pretty thick a few times. Ended the night with 48 blue cats, 3 redfish, 4 sheepheads, 1 frog, about 5 commons that we fed to the gators, and a couple GG. Biggest GG measured out at 7' 10" long and was weighed this morning at the local college where Justin goes to school. It's not an official scale, but it went 208#. Justin checked into the record and it is 210#. He is looking for a certified scale today and we hope the school scale is off by a couple of pounds.
