So im setting up my boat for bowfishing and need some info on lights. A few of us in our duck club got a Honda 2000i genny back during duck season to run our ice eater, my question is what kind and how many lights should I get? Never set up a boat for bowfishing so any info would be appreciated.

My boat is a 1650 xpress. I would like to set this up as cheap as possible but I dont want junk that im gonna have to replace next year. Thanks!

I would recomend buying 150 hps with caps. You can run 8 off that generator. They run about $70 a piece, but they will last longer and the amount of light is worth it. If you can swing paying for them go that route. imo. start off with just 4 if you want and then add more later.
