And you are saying that this will lower the wattage on what it draws on my generator.... I'm still trying to figure vout how a capacitor does this but I got faith in you u know more about it than I do

Without typing 5 pages on here that would be pointless let me say you gotta trust me and the ballast manufacurers on this one-- the amp clamp never lies.

 

I know in car audio we use a capacitor to keep up with the sudden power needs of big amps; it stores juice and supplies it on demand for sudden bass notes-I'm guessing a capacitor would store energy for the lamps use here as well?

Still kinda fuzzy on how it would cut it in HALF though? Unless the capacitor stores THAT much juice?

 

Ok so I went to cap king.. which ones do I need for 150hps? And is there a cheeper place?

thanks waterproof and old bald guy!! i can take any motor apart and put it back together.. but damn if i cant twist to wires together and make them work.. haha
