here is an all new minnkota riptide trolling motor mount..
no more big bulky base mounts in the way , this eliminates the base and allows more deck space
for shooting...easy on and off, and allows the trolling motor to be stored away easier..w/ less space.
and no need for messy greaseing ......

pics. on the way

How far does that push it out front and does it have to be taken off every time you move or does it fold back on top of deck.

that mount allows that trolling motor to sit out about 6-8 in. from the nose....
the mount is all water-jetted out of 1/2in. aluminum and is bolted to a 1/2in. aluminum plate
that is welded to the boat...
the motor is easily adjustable up and down for movement and placement when needed...
the motor is originally bolted to the factory base mount, so this new design allows you to bolt it the same way ...
to remove just unbolt it from top mount and slide it up and store away...

Bloodygator has the concept I've been using it for a month now you just pull shaft up and roll to next spot. I will post some pics looking down from deck in a little while.
