Thinking about switching tips. I've used the plain muzzy tips and switched to pirannha long barbs. I like the long barbs for holding power but just take too dang long to get the fish off. Instead of unscrewing the tip I've resorted to just bashing the fish off into the barrel which doesn't work well with the long barbs. I like the sure shots because you can just twist and flip em in the bucket but I'm unsure of how well they'll hold. Basically I'm looking for a tip that can ditch the 5lb fish with ease but still have some holding power on a 30lb fish. It may be too good to be true but I've gotta ask. and yes I know about the search function I just don't feel like using it lol.

Take a look at the NOS by RPM. Simple ferrule twist that you can do while the tip is in the fish, and the nice part about the RPM points, if you don't like it or want to switch it out for something with more holding power you don't have to change out arrows. Just change out the tips and go back to fishing!

That is unfortunate. I know they were having issues with the barbs not being strong enough but I believe they have since taken care of that issue. I was using an Octane boost last night and mostly bashing the little fish off the arrow. Barbs were not an issue at all and the holding power of that head was the best I've ever shot.
