this winter i picked up a older used MK Maxxam 101. Prop was a little banged up so i decided to replace it this weekend and when i pull the old prop off there was no hole in the motor drive shaft more of a notched side on the motor drive shaft. i guess the previous owner just tighten the nut all the way down and it worked. i used the motor 3 times before i took the old prop off and saw it didn't have a pin.

Anybody know what the part number i need to make this new prop work?

It's a pre 2004 that has a D shaft.
Has a flat instead of a pin.
MKP24 is the prop you need.

I've heard of guys drilling the shaft for a shear pin and running the newer style prop cause they don't make a WW2 for the D shaft.
Mines this same way and I have a brand new WW2 sitting on my bench I can't use.

I like the D shafts...no stainless shear pin to break or drop in da water.

Yeah but you ruin a $30 prop instead of a $3 pin if you smack something...
