Isnt the elation the same bow as the tidal wave except a different color?....green? If I remember right?

 

Yep same specs as the Tidal Wave you can get in 29# peak weight or 40# peak weight

My buddy just got a Tidal Wave. Pretty good setup. I shot it a few times, and like it so far.

 

i just seen this bow at a show. im not impressed. i caint see a cuda and disco cams with thier plastic modules being a step foward over the wave and hammerhead single cam set up. i guess giving these cams a longer stroke with the shorter brace height will probly make for a bit better numbers. i just dont really think this is a step in the right direction.

 

I think the hypermax cams on any bow blow away the wave. I thought the wave sucked big time, it was a downgrade from the cuda and Discovery. Both in performance, feel, and tuning. The tidal wave has been requested for a long time and im glad they finally listened and made it happen. Plastic modules are common on alot of cheaper bows, they dont work any better or worse than aluminum and if you break a module you are doing something seriously wrong.

 

I just picked mine up Friday and really like it. Very smooth draw cycle and has some snort with it. If anyone is looking for a new bow I would recommend the tidal wave or elation.
