You ever have one of those days where your shooting carp from the top of a damn and you run out of string unexpectedly and yanks the bow out of your hand??? It happened to me today... And in front of everybody that was fishing there!!! lol Straight up some carp surfaced and I pulled back let the arrow fly, sure as chit I ran out of string, was not expecting it and I didnt have a firm grip. Yanked the bow right out of my hand and down the dam she went lol.... I felt like a damn yuppy lol. Fortunately one of the guys fishing loaned me his snagging setup and was able to retrieve the bow and arrow back.... And no I did get the fish either, in fact after the bow hit the water, it was the last I seen of the fish lol..... But thats my story... Oh and to make things worse it was a borrowed bow from Hoyt Wielder :shh: lol Sorry John...

Anyone else have any days like this??? Id like to hear em, just to make me feel better... Hahaha!!!

One day I was down at the local dam shooting gar. So I was standing up on some rocks about ten feet off surface of water. Somehow my shoe caught on a rock and fell off into the running water. I yelled to all the other guys Bowfishing and they just gave me a dumb look as I ran to catch up with my shoe. So I finally catch up with it an luckily hit it first shot. Then came the walk of shame back to the group of guys Bowfishing wearing my soaking wet shoe with a big ole hole in it!
 That made me chuckle a bit!!! lol thanks for that, glad Im not the only one.... I couldnt help but notice your from sand springs, Im working around Enid... I was at Canton lake when I lost it lol...

Well to tell ya an even worse experience, last year we were trying to put in at a boat ramp and the water level was so low it turned from ramps to rocks before you even got in the water so I walked down on the rocks a ways to make sure it wasn't gunna drop off, and it did so there went my week old iPhone that was in my pocket!
 Ive got a phone story like that too!!! We were on our way to go fishin, but on the way through I had stopped by verizon and just bought an Iphone 4s, we took my buddies boat and his deck is setup a little bit different then my boat was, I wasnt used to a toe cut out, I had put my foot under the lip and a carp came flying up the left side and when I turned to shoot I tried to pick up my foot and fell right over the side of the boat, new phone in my pocket lol...... Cool thing is, the only damage was, the camera flash bulb burnt out and that was it.... I got lucky that time lol

I was trolling on my local lake going full speed with the 70 pound thrust trolling motor because we were heading to a new spot and sure enough, there was a big log in front of the boat. The water was very murky and I went head over heels into the water. I know have a railing.....
I've cracked a many of troller shafts doing that!!! lol Fortunately havent been knocked out of the boat though lol

We did one time get stuck on a local lake "Conway for yall Arkansans" which is stumpier then all get out. We went out at 7pm and a nasty fog rolled in around 11 so we started to head back to the ramp, phones at this point batteries had died, but anyway to make a long story short, we had gotten stuck on a couple of stumps. The first one we were stuck for a couple of hours before we finally was able to rock the boat enough to get off of it. The second stump, however, we were stuck on it for almost 6 hours before we finally used the dock rope and a boat paddle to pry us off of the stump " after we almost sunk the boat rocking it too much"... We finally got off the lake around 9am the next morning... I swore I would never go back to that lake, but my buddy "same one that was stuck with me" has convinced me that there are some fish in there worth the risk lol..... So Im considering goin back lol
