In need of some help. I'm building a new boat and I'm thinking of using LED lights both under water and above, was wondering if anyone has used them yet. Would appreciate pics and input. Thanks!!!
:tu:You are right about one thing...something definitely isn't right. You want to take a guess at how many people are pm'ing him about these lights?
I'll post up where you can find some.
Lektron, Inc. Do a google search and call them up. They'll run you about $290 per light give or take. Now anyone that questions KSkiller's intentions can order their own worry free about any conspiricies. You guys are too much. If I was him, I'd tell you all to find your own. Now that would be the simplist.
I just put 10 27 watt led's on the boat yesterday and can tell no difference between them and the 8 175 MH's i took off other than its dead quiet.I'm not going to say they are as brite as 250 or 400 watt Mh's or HPS's but the are just as brite as 150's and 175's and it was worth every penny to get get the genny off the boat. They really arn't that expensive either. Roughly $50 a light depending on how many i order and thats cost on them.I'm not making any money trust me.I just had to set up an account in order for me to place an order.I will try to get some pictures posted on here tonight after dark for you guys to see.I LOVED my Mh's ,i was just tired of the whole genny thing.
Possibly trying to order as many at one time as possible in order to get the price down?Private messages work too, its like a message to someone, just private. Something just doesn't seem right is all I'm saying, I don't see why he don't just pm people the place he got them from, meaning he wouldn't have to deal with the hassle of shipping them out to everyone, I guess that would be too simple.
Yep. He tries to help some people and look what happens. It don't make a rat's azz to me either way but I don't see that kskiller is obligated in any way to provide sources or contact info to anyone.
They have been $50 apiece the whole time, and thats what they still are. The price hasnt changedPossibly trying to order as many at one time as possible in order to get the price down?
There is no "information at hand" other than the specs of a 27 watt led light and that some guy on a forum is selling them for $50 apiece but he wont tell anyone where he gets them from even tho he's not making any money off of them. It makes absolutely no sense and something isnt adding up is all I am saying. I'm sure I am not the only one who feels this way either. If you aren't comfortable, bow out and keep quiet while those that are interested get the information at hand.
Specs straight from the manufacture.
Specifications:
1. Size: 128x110x41mm
2. 9pcsx3W high intensity LEDs
3.10~30V input, compatible for both 12V and 24V cars
4. current draw 1.14A@12V, 0.61A@24V
5. Light Patten: wide flood beam pattern
6. Diecast aluminum housing
7. Waterproof: IP67
Guess i was wrong, using your numbers at 160 amp hours divided by 6.1 amps of draw they will last 26 hours on a set of batteries.
This has been posted alreadyOk, here are the hard numbers straight off the trusty volt meter. At 12.1 volts they are drawing 1.78amps each. At 24.2 volts they are pulling 0.90 amps each.
You are missing the point completely. kskiller is not obligated in any way to find lights for you or tell you where to find them. He might have if you had asked politely but I'm doubting he will after all this.
