:cf: gotta say first I've heard of weedeater line being used for anything in bowfishing..... If it works Id sure like to know what you are talking about using it for... :wt:
Not positive but think I've heard of some shad shooters replacing barbs wit weed eater line....makes fish removal extremely fast I suppose.

I know nothing, nothing.

its used on numbers shoots and it does work just have to leave about 4 inches hanging out each side of the tip. just get the thickest that will still pull through the hole in whatever tip your using...ive had the best luck using muzzy tips though

Lol.. Just use a sureshot.. They lose fish too!

ya I think I stick to my "slinging the fish into the bucket and ripping the tip out method"..... The weedwhacker line may work on shad and smaller carp, but Id be pissed to lose a big fish cause I had whacker line instead of steel barbs....:headbang:

Exactly my thinking!

Ha ha...no i'm talking about the line on the arrow that the swivel runs on. That's all we ever used. I'm just getting back into it. Maybe nobody does it that way anymore? I dont know. We never had any problems with it and we killed lots of 30 pounders.
