I cut my points off at the end of the point with a hand saw. Then take a 5/16 or smaller drill bit and drill out the inside of the furrle of the point. Once there isn't anymore fiberglass inside the point, I use 2 part epoxy to put the point back on. Or if you are changing the point out, just epoxy the new point on.

I 2 part epoxy mine and also put a pin in them. Just get a heavy guage wire, drill a hole through shaft sideways. Cut the wire so it just slightly sticks out of both sides of the arrow. By slightly I mean a few hairs. Place the bottom of the pin on something metal and solid and then tap the top of the pin with a small hammer. It should knurl the ends of the pin. I usually two part epoxy the pin in also before knurling.

Depending on the epoxy holding them I usually heat them slowly till the tip pulls off. Clean the arrow with a light sanding & you are good to put a new tip on. Been doing it this way for 15 years.

yep. I walk outside, fire up the grill without the grate on one side and slowly turn...... too much heat will ruin it so there is a fine line.
