The BAA is looking for state reps in a number of states. If you have any interest in helping with the promotion of bowfishing through the BAA, please get in contact with me. There are minimal requirements such as quarterly emails, pics and new membership drives in your state/region. This is to name a few. What the BAA needs from you is a short resume on your bowfishing accomplishments (tournaments, local club affiliations, seminars/demonstrations that you host, etc,etc) . Indiana is covered in the north by Judd Hill and in the south by myself. But we are taking resumes for every state. Just not covered in the one's i listed.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner! Here is the rep contract with a few of the guidelines...


This contract will outline the general guidelines and expectations for the BAA State Reps starting in 2011. By returning the contract with a concurrence statement electronically, you understand and agree to the contract.
1. Being a BAA state rep, first and foremost, requires a professional and courteous attitude while promoting bowfishing and the BAA. This includes, but is not limited to; anytime on the water, attending tournaments and all promotional events, posting on internet forums and discussions with anyone outside of the BAA Directors concerning BAA business. Failure to abide by this will result in an immediate dismissal as a State Rep.
2. You are required to report your activities quarterly in writing, and include photographs for the BAA use with your reports.
3. Any and all photographs forwarded to the BAA are assumed to available for the BAA’s use as needed.
4. You are required to host/ help with at minimum 1 (one) bowfishing education seminars a year. These may include Boy Scouts of America, local dept. of natural resources or retail bowfishing stores (Gander Mtn).
5. As a State rep, if not able to attend the 2 annual meetings, you will be required to send a small update/ idea list to the director before those meetings so your ideas will be heard and we know you are still active.
6. The BAA requires a state rep to attend at least one BAA sanctioned tournament per year. At local tournaments and seminars, we ask that the BAA membership forms be present and promoted.
7. You will be asked to register at minimum 5 new members per year to the BAA. There will be special new member pricing for selected events.
8. As a State Rep, your membership in to the BAA will be paid for by the BAA. This is a small token of appreciation for your hard and diligent work throughout the year.
9. The BAA asks that if you have a lake/river system in your state/region that is suitable for The BAA World Championship that you work to nominate your lake for voting. This may mean combining with other reps in your state/region to ensure that you have enough resources to handle the task.
10. If your state/region is selected to host the World Championship, you are required to assist at the tournament.
